My Favorite Photos and Projects from 2022
I taught the Concert and Events class, and the Photo Journalism class at NOSSI College of Art in Nashville. I was often downtown with the students.
My wife and I continued our hikes and day trips, and the wildlife continued to visit our backyard.
July 4th in Crockett Park is always a lot of fun
In August I took a staff job with Vanderbilt University as University Photographer. I cover events, some sports, and create portraits for marketing and communications.
Homecoming weekend was a Triple Homecoming making up for the lost COVID years. It was a huge campus event and a fun project to be part of.
As part of my job I occasionally help out with Athletics.
Of course there are plenty of opportunities to make photos in classes and labs.
For the second year I had the pleasure of documenting Lipscomb Academy's State Championship football season, and I also shot a few other high school sporting events for other clients.
I worked with the NHL during the Predators vs Bolts Stadium Series game at Nissan Stadium
Covered the ASUN Men's Soccer championship
Covered Naomi's remembrance service and former President Trump for the Reuters News Service
Saw students who were in the first class I taught graduate.
