Chicago
I had a quick work trip to Chicago for Vanderbilt. My co-worker and I did have a few hours to wander around downtown, she is from there so it was great to have a local tour guide.
We flew into O'hare. I had heard Butch O'hare's fighter was on display in the airport. I had to stop and see it. Being a WWII history buff, especially the history of the South Pacific theatre, I really wanted to see the display. So many do not know the airport is named for a WWII Navy pilot who saved his carrier and won the Medal of Honor.
We grabbed lunch and looked at the city a bit.
Walked down to the Bean and the Lake Front.
The moon was quite pretty as it was setting while I was waiting on my flight back to Nashville.
