I was in Utah for a University photographer's symposium.  After it ended, but before heading home, a friend and I visited the Bonneville Salt Flats and got permission to wander around the pit area of the cars doing speed tests.  It was a lot of fun seeing all those super fast cars up close.
The famous sign and check in point for the racing.
Where the speed tests were being held, probably about a mile from where I was standing.
It was wild how the salt sticks to the cars like snow and ice, and looks much the same.
Walking back to the entrance.
The End.
